Currency reserves of the National Bank of Moldova on february 15 made $1 bln 348,95 mln, $3,33 mln or 0,2% increase as compared to the previous week.

The information is provided by the NBM to «InfoMarket» agency, noting that on February 8 the currency reserves made $1 bln 345,62 mln. Remind that at the end of December 2007 the NBM currency reserves made $1 bln 333,68 mln, at the end of January thy grew to $1 bln 351,15 mln. Earlier it was reported, in 2007 as compared to 2006 the NBM increased its currency reserves in 1,7 times. The currency reserves if the NBM at the end of 2006 made $775,29 mln, at the end of the I half of 2007 - $878,52 mln. Historical par of $1 bln was exceeded in the end of August 2007.
